Well, I guess I've got a lot to catch upon here. Mock trial was OK...we didn't win but the Lake Ridge other team did. One of our judges thought we were pretty evenly matched with the other team; the other didn't. I had to question a witness I didn't even have questions written out for before the trial, but that ended up being one of the highlights. We didn't win our case but we ended up close to the opposing council in score.
In JSA, I think the moderators hated me. The first session, I spoke 3 times, mostly supporting the unpopular positions. The next two sessions they didn't call on me at all, and they didn't know how to follow the rules. We had to leave early, so I never got a chance to kill the laws that deserved to die. Oh well; there's always next time.
In robotics our robot lost in the third round. But, we got to miss school! So it was definitely worth it...
You know you're doing too many things when teachers beg you to go to their club's meeting instead of another's, which, sadly enough, happened to me yesterday. We still have to finish working on the robot for the robotics competition, because it sucks. Oh well.
Anyway, here is my schedule for the next few days:
Thursday - Drinking party at Dr. Mo's house
Friday - Mock Trial, leaving for JSA
Saturday - More JSA
Sunday - Even more JSA, return, work on the robot
Monday - Robotics competition
Tuesday - So far, Algebra 2 and French tests, gotta do the newspaper too, and then there are these various things I have to do work...
...just in case you cared.
I'm going to be so tired when this is all over...
Well, this is another redesign of my site. It's a blog again (for those of you who remember it from five years ago), and if I can actually update it with some regularity, it'll stay that way.
I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna put here, but I'll figure it out eventually.
